What are lip fillers used for?
Lip fillers are an excellent treatment to give fuller lips and a more balanced smile. The treatment can also correct asymmetrical lips and give a more defined shape.
How does the treatment work?
Following a consultation to discuss size and shape, small amounts of filler are skillfully injected precisely where it is needed.
Can I have my consultation on the same day as my treatment?
Yes, you can have your consultation during the same appointment as your treatment if you wish.
Do I need to book my treatment in advance?
Yes, all appointments for treatments and free consultations need to be booked in advance. To book an appointment please call 01 2939148. Lip fillers have become a very popular treatment so please try to book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.
Who will be doing my lip filler treatment?
All lip enhancement procedures at ClearSkin are carried out by our highly qualified and skilled Registered Nurse, Marsha Harmon. Marsha has over 15 years of international experience and is regarded as an expert in her field.
Will I have a 'trout pout' after this treatment?
No. Marsha's preferred style is a soft, natural look. However, if there is a certain look you would like we can cater to your needs.
How long does the treatment take?
You will be in and out of the clinic in 30 minutes. The treatment itself takes about 5 minutes.
Can I go to work straight after this treatment?
Yes, you will be fit to work following the treatment. However, your lips will be slightly swollen following treatment.
How long will my lips be swollen for following treatment?
Swelling usually lasts for 2 days but it can vary from person to person.
What age do you have to be to have this treatment?
You must be over 18 to have this treatment.
How much are lip fillers?

Which lip filler products do you use?
We use a wide range of different products and can discuss the most suitable options for you during your consultation.
Is the treatment painful?
No. We use anesthetic to make sure your treatment is comfortable.
What type of anesthetic do you use?
We can use a topical numbing cream or we can inject anesthetic into the area to minimise any discomfort during your treatment.
What does the treatment feel like?
You can feel a slight pinch and can also feel a little tight following treatment.
How long do the results last?
If it's your first time having the treatment, lip fillers usually last 3 - 4 months. If you have had the treatment before the results tend to last from 7 - 9 months. This can vary from person to person.
Can I wear lipstick straight after the treatment?
2 hours after treatment you can apply lipstick if you wish.
